NARRATIVE:
Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a Hispanic woman in Compton.
On Sunday, May 3, 2020 at 7:25 PM, deputies from Compton Station responded to a home in the 600 block of North Santa Fe Avenue regarding a call of an assault with a deadly weapon/gunshot victim. Upon arriving they discovered a female victim in her 30’s suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The murder weapon, along with the suspect, remain outstanding.
There is no suspect description or further information at this time.
