Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their investigation into the shooting death of a male adult which occurred on Friday, April 24, 2020, at approximately 3:04 P.M.

Deputies assigned to Temple Sheriff’s Station responded to the location regarding a gunshot victim call.  Upon their arrival, the deputies discovered the victim  inside the residence suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper torso.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

A male adult was detained at the location and transported to the Temple Sheriff’s Station for questioning. The male was later identified as the victim’s son.

The investigation is ongoing. There is no other information available at this time.

Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are responding to the 4500 Block of Halifax Road, Temple City to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult which occurred on Friday, April 24, 2020, at approximately 3:29 P.M.
 
The investigation is ongoing, and there is no additional information available at this time.
