Wilmington Police arrest Elsmere man on gun charges: 
Wilmington Police have arrested an Elsmere man on gun charges.
On April 22 at approximately 7:05 p.m. members of the Safe Streets Task Force conducted a vehicle stop in the 200 block of South Broom Street. Officers made contact with the operator of the vehicle, 29-year-old Aaron Brooks of Elsmere, and he was found to be in possession of a loaded .40 caliber handgun. He was taken into custody without incident.
Brooks was charged with Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon, in addition to a traffic violation.
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released on $15,150 unsecured bail.
