Clothing manufacturer IFGfit generously donated vital and necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the sworn and professional staff assigned to the Sheriff’s Detention facilities.
Posture perfecting activewear label IFGfit is a Los Angeles based manufacturer that applies innovative biomechanics to everyday products for the general consumer in order to improve physical and cognitive performance. During the ongoing Covid-19 crisis, the founders of IFGfit noticed a diminishing supply of Personal Protective Equipment increasing the susceptibility of healthcare professionals and first responders.
In response, IFGfit devoted their manufacturing capabilities to producing thousands of washable filter masks and has donated them to hospitals, clinics and law enforcement. The masks are made in IFGfit’s Southern California facilities employing local workers, while ensuring health safety by following responsible distancing protocols.
On April 7 and April 9, 2020, representatives from IFGfit met with personnel from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office Detention Services Division to deliver a combined total of 500 filter masks they have donated to Detention employees.
This generous donation will help to supplement and extend the division’s current supply of medical masks for use by staff and inmates.
