Register Ready allows New Jersey residents with disabilities or access and functional needs and their families, friends, caregivers and associates an opportunity to provide information to emergency response agencies so emergency responders can better plan to serve them in a disaster or other emergency. Hunterdon County residents experiencing difficulties accessing food are urged to contact Hunterdon Helpline for assistance. Hunterdon Helpline can be reached by calling 908-782-4357 or visit http://www.helplinehc.org/
NJ211 is connecting individuals with needed resources. Those with COVID-19 questions are urged to call 2-1-1 or to text NJCOVID to 898-211 to register for NJ COVID alerts. For more information visit https://www.nj211.org/

We remind the public that emergencies should be phoned into 9-1-1 whenever possible. However, if calling will place the caller in further danger then they can send a text message to 9-1-1. The NJ Department of Human Services operates a toll free “warm line” which is a resource for people seeking mental health service. The warm line is activated during events that impact the mental health of New Jersey residents. The warm line is available 24 hours and has language access. Call (877) 294-HELP (4357) for assistance.
