Park District to expand parking lot closures tomorrow (April 9)
On Thursday, April 9, the Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Recreation District will expand its temporary closure of parking lots to include trailheads and all Park District facilities to align with Gov. Jay Inslee’s ‘Stay Home, Stay Healthy’ order. This includes the closure of the parking lots at Island Center Hall and Seabold Hall.
Bainbridge Island police officers are issuing warning tickets to any vehicles blocking the entrance to a park or parked in an area not designated for parking (e.g., along the street obstructing traffic). Beginning April 9, officers will also issue warnings to vehicles parked at trailheads. Repeat violators will be issued a formal ticket. Please report any parking issues to the Bainbridge Island Police Department by calling 911. Read the full Park District update here: https://biparks.org/
