Police Seek the Public's Help in Identifying Robbery Suspects

Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose reports that police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the below pictured individuals wanted for questioning in a robbery that occurred on Saturday, March 28, 2020.

At approximately 7:30 p.m., a woman walking in the 100 block of Jefferson Street was robbed her of her cash and personal belongings by three suspects.

The first suspect is described as a female with a medium complexion wearing a dark colored jacket with a fur-lined hood, blue pants and white sneakers. The second suspect is described as a female with a medium complexion wearing a dark colored jacket with a hood, blue pants and white sneakers. The third suspect is described as wearing a dark colored jacket with a hood, dark colored pants and dark shoes.

Detectives investigating this incident are seeking the public’s help in quickly identifying these suspects as part of this investigation.

Director Ambrose urges anyone with information about the suspects to call the Division's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
