Today the Governor has ordered that all flags be set to half staff in honor of the victims of the COVID-19 pandemic. With COVID-19 continuing to spread around the globe, we are now at over one million cases of COVID-19 worldwide. In New Jersey alone we have lost 646 individuals. These individuals were family, friends, colleagues and neighbors; including healthcare workers, first responders and others who gave their lives working bravely on the front lines. It is with a heavy heart that we cannot properly mourn the loss of these COVID-19 victims so we honor them by placing our flags at half staff.
