Good morning Ocean Township,

An update from the Office of Emergency Management,

The COVID-19 infections in the township shows a total of 54 residents at this time. As more testing continues, this number is sure to rise. We are looking forward to the day when the curve flattens and begins to decline.

The forecast for this weekend looks to be pretty nice and folks will be looking to go outdoors. That is no reason to lower your guard. You MUST continue to practice social distancing wherever you go. As a reminder, all of the walking trails in Palaia Park are open, but all activity fields, courts, and playgrounds in the township remain closed. Please adhere to these mandates as they are intended to help us get through this as soon as possible.

If you are a summer resident who relocated to the township, we cannot stress the importance of self-quarantining for 14 days.
