To date, a total of 275 patients in San Benito County have been tested for COVID-19 at eight reporting laboratories. Of these, 226 have tested negative for COVID-19 and 26 are pending results. Fifty-six percent (153) of patients tested were female. Patients ages ranged from 3 years to 99 years (median: 46 years). San Benito County Public Health Services continues to work with medical providers to identify and test individuals who meet criteria for COVID-19 testing. As of April 1, 2020, there have been a total of 23 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in San Benito County; 12 cases remain active. Confirmed cases include patients who have since recovered and those who are deceased. Ten patients have recovered and are no longer considered active cases in San Benito County. One death has been reported in San Benito
