Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau is continuing to investigate the shooting of a male Black adult in the city of Lancaster.

Deputies from Lancaster Sheriff's Station responded on Wednesday, April 1, 2020, just after 1:00 AM, to the 44000 block of Trevor Avenue in Lancaster regarding a call of a gunshot victim.  Upon arriving, they found the victim unresponsive on the ground in a parking lot adjacent to residences.  The victim appeared to have suffered gunshot wounds.  He was transported to a local hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

The weapon remains outstanding. 

There is no suspect or suspect vehicle description at this time. 

This shooting is being investigated as gang related.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau detectives are responding to Lancaster station to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting of a male adult. The incident occurred on Monday April 1, 2020, at approximately 1:00 a.m., on the 44900 block of Trevor Avenue, Lancaster.  
 
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he is in critical condition.  
 
There is no additional information available at this time.
