MONTGOMERY MUNICIPAL OPERATIONS IN APRIL

The closure of Montgomery’s municipal building will continue into April and we will evaluate the return to normal operations on a weekly basis, following the guidance from the Governor’s Executive Orders. (See operation details below.)

ELECTED OFFICIAL MEETINGS & OTHER BOARDS & COMMITTEES

The Montgomery Board of Health will meet via broadcasted video conference on Wednesday, April 1st at 7:30 PM.

The Montgomery Township Committee will also meet by broadcasted video conference on Thursday, April 2nd at 7:00 PM.

These two public meetings may be viewed live and on demand on Comcast Channel 29 or on the Twp. website at Meetings Videos.  For instructions on how to comment, go to link in yellow at top of homepage: twp.montgomery.nj.us. Zoom links are not at all necessary to watch a broadcast meeting (and should not be used), but are intended for commenters only, who will find the Zoom codes needed on the April Meetings Calendar.

The Planning Board and Zoning Board of Adjustment will not begin meeting again until further notice. Some advisory volunteer boards will be meeting by teleconference and other methods accessible by the public.  Continue to check the Meetings Calendar for updates.

 SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES

Our local businesses are the heart of Montgomery. During this public health emergency, many non-essential businesses are not able to operate* but others, considered essential, are doing their best to stay open to serve the Montgomery public. Fortunately, there is a resource for those looking to support local businesses at this time.
