1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon Arrest (1800) El Dorado Street and Lafayette Street, Seaport District
The male juvenile victim was walking in the area with other family members when they encountered and got into a confrontation with the suspect over a prior incident. The suspect picked up a piece of concrete and threw it at the victim, striking him in the head and causing non-life-threatening injuries. ARRESTED: James Valadez, 40, for assault with a deadly weapon, child abuse, and public intoxication.
2. Weapons Arrest (1929) East Tenth Street and South B Street, Park District
Officers contacted the two suspects in the area who were found to be in possession of illegal firearms. ARRESTED: Luis Rodriguez,19, and Diego Santoyo-Miranda, 23, for weapons charge
