The City of Manhattan Beach has proclaimed a Local State of Emergency (PDF) regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. The staff continue to monitor and speak with the health experts at Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LACDPH), California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Their health expertise and guidance are critical to the City’s planning and response to the coronavirus.
