1. Resisting Arrest (1355) 2200 Block of Reverend Henry Drive, Park District
While investigating a disturbance, officers attempted to arrest the suspect. The suspect resisted arrest and used his child as a shield, in an effort to avoid being arrested. The officers overcame the suspect’s resistance and were able to take him into custody without harming the child. ARRESTED: Rafael Suarez, 20, for battery, child endangerment, and resisting arrest.
