 The Manville Office of Emergency Management would like to share the following COVID-19 update.

Positive COVID-19 Cases
New cases in Manville:  3
Total cases in Manville:  7
Fatalities reported in Manville: 0 
 

As of today the current number of deaths in Somerset County has increased to 4. Mayor Richard Onderko asks all residents to “Please take seriously the recommended sheltering in place and continue to practice social distancing if you have to go out in public. Let’s all help stop this virus from spreading any further.”

The best way to protect yourself and your family from this Coronavirus and other diseases is to follow simple daily health precautions:  

·         STAY HOME

·         Wash hands frequently with soap and water, and for at least 20 seconds each time

·         Resist the urge to touch your eyes, nose and mouth

·         Avoid close contact with people who are ill

·         Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze

·         Do not reuse tissue after coughing, sneezing, or blowing your nose

·         Clean and disinfect surfaces that are frequently touched
