Residents are Advised to Avoid Dockweiler Beach RV Park Area

Manhattan Beach, CA (March 25, 2020) - Los Angeles County is utilizing Dockweiler Beach RV Park (located at 12001 Vista Del Mar) as a location to temporarily house individuals who have been ordered to isolate or quarantine by the Department of Public Health due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

All residents and visitors who may be on the beach, strand or bike path should avoid the area entirely. 

Dockweiler Beach RV Park is within the jurisdiction and control of Los Angeles County. Individuals that may be housed at this location will likely be those who cannot self-isolate/quarantine in their residence and need comprehensive services to ensure safety, health and well-being. Supportive housing facilities will be distributed across all areas of the County, including the Pomona Fairplex grounds.  

The County is undertaking this emergency action to comply with the Department of Public Health’s orders which are intended to limit the spread of the coronavirus.
