It is with a heavy heart that I report that one of our fellow Waldwick residents has died due to complications from COVID-19 (Coronavirus). On behalf of the Borough of Waldwick, I express our condolences to the family and friends of our deceased resident. Please keep this resident and their family in your prayers.  Together, we will all get through this, we are “FAMILY”.  Please be safe.
 
The New Jersey Department of Health has reported 4,402 confirmed coronavirus cases in the State, including 62 deaths. Bergen County has 819 confirmed cases, and today I was informed that four resident of the Borough of Waldwick are confirmed to have contracted Coronavirus.
 
Northwest Bergen Regional Health Commission works to identify and contact those that an individual testing positive for Coronavirus was in contact with that may be at risk of contracting the virus.
