900 block Havenhurst Drive
03/16/2020 @ 0630-1115. An unknown suspect forced the rear door open to gain access and ransacked the interior. The victim was unsure if anything was taken. #01558
March 17th
Aggravated Assault - Other Weapon (Suspect Arrested)
7900 block Fountain Avenue
03/17/2020 @ 1020-1050. A man entered a vacant house to perform maintenance. Once inside, the victim encountered a man in the living room that was armed with a machete. The suspect raised the machete in the air and swung it at the victim. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #01555

7700 block Romaine Street
03/18/2020 @ 1754. A man removed a tote bag containing a laptop computer and IPad from the interior of the unlocked vehicle. The suspect also removed a purse containing a cell phone, wallet, credit cards, and vehicle key fob. #01576
Other Burglary
1000 block N Orange Grove
03/18/2020 @ 1400. A man smashed a laundry room window to gain access and unplugged and moved a washer and dryer from their original location. The suspect ran from the laundry room after being interrupted by an employee of the apartment complex. #01573
Vehicle Burglary
1300 block Havenhurst Drive
03/18/2020 @ 1830-1200. An unknown suspect removed a cell phone, vehicle key fob, garage remote, and gold ring from the interior. No sign of forced entry. #01585

02/25/2020 – 03/19/2020. An unknown suspect broke the lock and removed miscellaneous items from a storage locker. #01590
Residential Burglary
1100 block N Kings Road
03/19/2020 @ 2118. A man smashed the balcony glass sliding door to gain access and was confronted in the living room by the resident. The suspect ran from the residence, jumped off the balcony, and fled the area on foot. #01591

Aggravated Assault - Knife
Santa Monica Blvd / Holloway Drive
03/20/2020 @ 0955. A man attempted to cut the victim with a razor blade while walking in the crosswalk. The suspect fled the area on foot. #01597
Vehicle Burglary
1000 block N Hilldale Avenue
03/20/2020 @ 2000-0400. An unknown suspect cut the vinyl window of a Jeep to gain access and searched the center console and glove box but did not take anything. #01605
