We need your Help! Suspicious Mail Theft / Beware of COVID-19 Cyberscams

The City of Duarte and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department want residents to be aware that additional patrol has been deployed into all Duarte neighborhoods, Part 1 crimes are down by 9.3% year to date.

Despite crime prevention efforts mail theft was reported last week in an unknown area of the city of Duarte. We received two videos showing two different suspects stealing mail. (see attached screenshots- excuse the poor quaity) An unknown female suspect opening a mailbox and an unknown male on a bike riding up and taking a package from a porch. We urge all residents to remain vigilant and look out for each other while practicing stay at home orders from county and state.
