The Pomona Police Department responded to Viewpoint Circle in response to shots fired at 6:55 pm. Family members contacted Dispatch to report a male adult was shot. Although medical aid was provided, the victim passed away at the scene as a result of his injuries. Officers and Detectives are on scene interviewing potential witnesses and collecting evidence.
Please avoid the area as it will be blocked off for several hours as part of the investigation.
