NARRATIVE:
Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the stabbing death of a woman in Lancaster.
On Sunday, March 22, 2020, at 10:45 PM, deputies from Lancaster Station responded to a home in the 43900 block of Rembrandt Street regarding a domestic violence assault in progress call. Upon their arrival, deputies located a female victim in her fifties suffering from apparent stab wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A male adult in his fifties was detained at the scene.
The names of the victim and the male detained are not being released at this time pending the notification of next of kin.
