Winter Weather Advisory until 10:00AM Monday

...WINTRY MIX OVERNIGHT FOR THE HIGHEST RIDGETOPS OF WEST VIRGINIA... .A nose of warm air associated with an approaching system will overrun cold air near the surface associated with southeast flow into the higher terrain. Precipitation will begin as snow and then switchover to a rain/sleet/freezing rain mix into early Monday morning. While warm road temperatures may limit the ability for ice to accumulate on road surfaces, some ice accumulations will be possible on elevated or more exposed surfaces.

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations of up to one inch and ice accumulations up to one tenth of an inch.

* WHERE...Northwest Pocahontas and Southeast Randolph Counties. Mainly above 3500 feet in elevation.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 10 AM EDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.

* AFFECTED AREAS: SOUTHEAST RANDOLPH ... NORTHWEST POCAHONTAS
