Dear WMTPS Community, Yesterday, the West Milford Office of Emergency Management (OEM) released a statement that an individual in our community tested positive for COVID-19. HIPAA privacy prohibits the District or the Township from releasing the name of the person. We are working with the OEM to notify people who might have come into contact with the affected individual, either on or off school grounds. There are many rumors surrounding this and, while we cannot address each rumor, we believe that the person attended the WMHS school play last Thursday. We will contact people who sat within 6 feet for more than 10 minutes. Self-quarantine and universal precautions are still the safest course of action.
