Wilmington Police arrest six following drug investigation:
Wilmington Police have arrested six men following a drug investigation.
On March 19 at approximately 2:16 p.m. members of the Drug, Organized Crime and Vice Division, with the assistance of other units, executed a search warrant in the 300 block of East 23rd Street. Police took 6 men into custody without incident: 28-year-old Keytwane Thomas, 29-year-old Malik Miller, 18-year-old Amir Young, 27-year-old Jarrod Reams, 28-year-old Jakeem Boardley, and 28-year-old Ugundi Jacobs.
Police recovered 1,923.9 grams of marijuana, 2 grams of cocaine, ammunition, drug paraphernalia and $3,367 in currency.
Thomas was charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver in Tier 2 Quantity
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 2 Quantity
- Conspiracy (2nd degree)
- Possession of Drug paraphernalia
Miller was charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver in Tier 2 Quantity
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 2 Quantity
- Conspiracy (2nd degree)
- Possession of Drug paraphernalia
Young was charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver in Tier 2 Quantity
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 2 Quantity
- Conspiracy (2nd degree)
- Possession of Drug paraphernalia
Reams was charged with the Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver. He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released on $2,500 unsecured bail.
Boardley was charged with Possession of Marijuana. He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released on his own recognizance.
Jacobs was charged with Possession of Marijuana. He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released on his own recognizance.
