The Flash Flood Watch is now in effect for
* Portions of north central Texas and northeast Texas, including the following areas, in north central Texas, Collin, Dallas, Ellis, Fannin, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Rockwall, and Tarrant. In northeast Texas, Delta, Hopkins, Lamar, Rains, and Van Zandt.
* Until 10 PM CDT this evening
* Three to five inches of rain have fallen across much of North Texas during the past few days. Another round of thunderstorms moving through the area this afternoon may produce up to two inches of rain and lead to additional flooding.
* Flooding may occur in urban and poor drainage areas. Heavy rainfall may also cause additional flooding and/or rises across area creeks, streams, and rivers.
* AFFECTED AREAS: HOPKINS ... TARRANT ... ROCKWALL ... DELTA ... KAUFMAN ... DALLAS ... ELLIS ... HUNT ... VAN ZANDT ... JOHNSON ... LAMAR ... FANNIN ... RAINS ... COLLIN
