This is an update on the ongoing covid 19 outbreak-Borough employees are continuing to work in order to ensure continuity of government services during this time.  In order to stay informed of any changes to service delivery and other important notices, we ask that residents sign up for Nixle alerts on their smartphones, If you are receiving this message you are already signed up for Nixle alerts, so please help a friend or neighbor in Washington to do so. 

At this time all Borough recreational facilities such as playgrounds and athletic fields are closed.  Zoning and other permits, marriage licenses, business licenses, bulk garbage stickers and other services are all still available by mail, by request.  Please contact Borough Hall for details.  Finally, at this time there are no planned changes to garbage or recycling pickup.  In the event that changes are required, alerts will be sent out via Nixle alerts.  Please sign up for Nixle alerts and/or check the Borough's social media page often.
