Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau is continuing to investigate the fatal stabbing death of a woman. The incident occurred Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at approximately 2:18 a.m., on the 39300 block of 10th Street East, Palmdale.
Detectives learned that deputies from Palmdale Station responded to the location regarding an assault with a deadly weapon call. When they arrived, they found a victim that was suffering from at least one slash wound to the upper torso.
They located one additional victim with slash wounds to his hands.
A possible suspect was detained and being interviewed by Homicide investigators.
The first victim, female Black 63 years-old, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second victim, male Black in his 60's with slash wounds to his hands, was transported to a local hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
