Effective noon today, March 17, 2020, the Pemberton Township Municipal Complex will be closed to the public pending the duration of the Governor’s declared State of Emergency. Notwithstanding, the building will be open for the limited purpose of conducting a Township Council meeting on March 18, 2020 at 6:00 PM. The Township Clerk is exploring ways to broadcast the meeting so that residents do not need to attend in person. Township employees will continue to report to work and shall be available to respond to calls from the public. Vital Statistics shall be available by appointment only from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM by calling (609) 894-3314. Construction permit applicants must call the Construction Code Office at (609) 894-3380 to make an appointment between 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM to pick/up drop off permit applications (including, as necessary, sealed plans) or to arrange for an inspection. Note, during this time, only inspections of new buildings or outdoor facilities will be conducted; construction officials will not enter any personal dwellings or similar spaces. The Municipal Complex will remain closed until the Governor rescinds the State of Emergency.
