Advisory
In response to concerns of the spread of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the Centers for Disease Control’s recommendation to practice “social distancing” as a mitigation measure, we ask those that we serve to refrain from visiting police headquarters unless it is absolutely necessary. Typically, we endeavor to maximize opportunities to have contact with our citizens; the current circumstances dictate that we temporarily depart from that practice. Therefore, we will implement the following measures:
Police Headquarters Protocols in Response to COVID-19
- Access to Police Headquarters will be restricted.
- The Records Division window at Police Headquarters will be closed until further notice. All record requests can be made from the Middlesex Police Department’s website (WWW.MIDDLESEXPD.COM.) Please go to the Records Bureau page on the website and complete the appropriate form.
- The provision of non-essential services will be suspended until further notice.
- Reports of certain minor, non-violent incidents (petty thefts, lost property, minor vandalism, etc.) should be submitted using our Citizen Services Online Reporting Module (on our website at middlesexpd.com) or by telephone (732-356-1900). DO NOT USE ONLINE REPORTING FOR VIOLENT CRIMES OR CRIMES IN PROGRESS! For emergencies, dial 9-1-1.
