Ocean Township Resident tests positive for the COVID-19 Virus.

NARRATIVE:
An 83 year-old woman that was transported to the hospital from her Ocean Township residence via ambulance on 3/11/20 has tested positive for the COVID-19 Virus. The Office of Emergency Management and the Police Department were notified late this
afternoon by the Monmouth County Regional Health Commission that the woman tested positive.
As a pre-caution a police officer has been directed to self-isolate for 14 days and two EMS Personnel have been advised to self-monitor themselves for any changes in their heath.
The Ocean Township Office of Emergency Management is proactively working with the Monmouth County Regional Health Commission and the State Department of Health on this matter. Further updates will be provided as necessary.
