Governor Henry McMaster announced today (Sunday, March 15, 2020), due to coronavirus (COVID-19), all public schools in South Carolina—including all public schools in Beaufort County—will be closed starting tomorrow (Monday, March 16, 2020) through the end of March.
Parents of public school students can expect communications with detailed information from the Beaufort County School District regarding school closings. In addition, residents and guests can expect a communication from Beaufort County regarding county operations. We will rebroadcast those communications on NIXLE, Nextdoor, Facebook and Twitter, after they are released.
