Important 2020 Census dates are posted on our website calendar. 2020 Census will be mailed to every household March 12 – March 20.
HYDRANT FLUSHING PROGRAM will take place March 19 – March 31 in District 3. The Water Department will flush hydrants from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The Borough strongly advises residents NOT to do laundry or take a shower during this timeframe. The Borough will not be held liable for any clothes that are damaged due to the flushing program. Residents may experience some discoloration in their water, which is a result of the settling of naturally found minerals in water. The remedy is to let the water run for a short time to clear up. If the problem persists, please call 201-652-5300 ext. 240.
FREE Basic CERT Training has been postponed.
SCOUTING FOR FOOD - Scouting for Food Drop Off will be in the Ambulance Corps Parking lot on Whites Lane on Saturday, March 14 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Donations will benefit the Center for Food Action and those in need in our community.
WALDWICK HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY – The Waldwick High School Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place on Thursday, April 2 at 6:30 pm at Macaluso's, Hawthorne. Please see the FLYER to purchase tickets or for more details.
ST. PATRICK’S DAY DINNER scheduled for Sunday, March 15 has been canceled.
WEF EGG MY YARD FUNDRAISER - Have your family wake up to a yard filled with candy and toy stuffed Easter eggs on April 12. Proceeds will be donated to the Waldwick Education Foundation. Please email the [email protected] for more information. Egg My Yard Flyer
MIDLAND PARK RECREATION SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM - Registration is open. Summer Camp is a 6 week program beginning on June 29 and running through the week of August 3. Registration forms are available at midlandparknj.org, at the DePhillips Community Center or Midland Park Borough Hall.
The summer camp is for children entering Grades 1-8, and is filled with lots of fun and exciting activities. Camp runs from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm with the option of extending the day until 4:00 pm. Cost per week is $65 for the first child, second child $50, third child $40, $155 a week max per family (children must attend the same week for discount to apply). The fee for the extended day option is $50 per child, per week.

COMMINGLED RECYCLING (Plastics #1, #2 and #5, glass bottles and tin and aluminum cans) will be picked up Wednesday, March 18. PLEASE BE SURE RECYCLABLES ARE CLEANED AND DO NOT CONTAIN ANY FOOD PRODUCTS, PLASTIC BAGS, STYROFOAM AND/OR PLASTIC LIDS OR CAPS. MUST BE LOOSE IN CAN WITH LID. RECYCLABLES IN PLASTIC BAGS WILL NOT BE PICKED UP. RECYCLING MUST BE CURBSIDE BY 6:00 AM.
CARDBOARD/MIXED PAPER RECYCLING (cardboard, cereal boxes, gift boxes, wrapping paper, newspapers, magazines, books and junk mail) will be picked up on Wednesday, March 25. PLEASE MAKE SURE CARDBOARD IS BROKEN DOWN. OTHER PAPER RECYCLABLES MUST BE LOOSE IN CAN WITH LID. RECYCLABLES IN PLASTIC BAGS WILL NOT BE PICKED UP. RECYCLING MUST BE CURBSIDE BY 6:00 AM.

BAGGED LEAVES, BRUSH & BRANCHES may be brought to the Recycling Center, 19 Industrial Park during normal business hours (Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 3:00 pm and Saturdays 9:00 am - 1:00 pm) otherwise keep leaves, brush and branches on your property until the Grass-Brush/Branch collection begins in April 14, 2020.
WALDWICK FIRE DEPARTMENT AUXILIARY FISH & CHIPS DINNER scheduled for April 3 has been CANCELED.

WALDWICK MUNICIPAL POOL – Registration will open on April 1 and Pre-Season Registration pricing for Waldwick/Midland Park residents will run through Friday, May 15. Forms will be available on our website and in the Clerk’s office. Any registrations received after May 15 will require an additional $10 per badge. For those renewing, use the same badge(s) you received last year. Once payment is processed, your badge(s) will be reactivated for use during the 2020 Pool Season.
