Due to the COVID-19 situation and the need for social distancing, the City of Livonia is closing Livonia’s Jack Kirksey Community Recreation Center at 2 p.m. today, Friday, March 13, through Sunday, April 5, to align with Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s closure of Michigan’s schools. In addition, the Livonia Public Libraries and the Livonia Senior Center will be closed to visitors starting at 5 p.m. today, Friday, March 13, and continuing through Sunday, April 5. The Livonia Senior Center will continue to operate the Senior bus transit programs.
