ACCUSED: Nancy R. Martins, 41 year old female of Ocean, NJ
NARRATIVE: On March 7th, 2020 the board members of the Wanamassa PTA reported that several thousand dollars was missing and had not been deposited into their account. Information was developed that the treasurer of the PTA, Nancy Martins, was suspected as being involved.
Further investigation revealed that Martins, who was the custodian of the money for the PTA had failed to make several deposits. The total amount of money taken was over $4000.00. Martins was arrested on March 10th and charged with Theft. She was processed and released on a criminal summons pending a future court appearance.
