Winter Storm Warning until 06:00AM Saturday 
...HEAVY SNOW COMING TO THE NORTHERN MOUNTAINS LATE TONIGHT THROUGH LATE FRIDAY NIGHT... .An anomalously moist Pacific storm system will impact the state late tonight through Friday night with widespread showers and a few thunderstorms. Snow levels will be high initially, generally at or above 10,000 feet, and will fall to between 8,000 and 9,000 feet Friday night. Significant snowfall accumulation is likely across the northern mountains, specifically in the Tusas and Sangre De Cristos above 9,000 feet. Although very few roads will be impacted, ski resorts will likely see a foot or more of new snow.
* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of up to one foot above 9,000 feet, with lesser amounts below.
* WHERE...Tusas Mountains Including Chama, Northern Sangre de Cristo Mountains and Southern Sangre de Cristo Mountains.
* WHEN...From 3 AM Friday to 6 AM MDT Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult to impossible on high elevation roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel on State Highway 38 through Bobcat Pass and along US Highway 64 east of Taos will be impacted by heavy snow.
