Full Notification

In response to Governor Baker’s state of emergency declaration, measures to be taken within Somerset government in order to prevent and mitigate the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) are as follows:

1. All out of state work related travel are discouraged until further notice.
2. All conferences, seminars and other discretionary gatherings involving external parties should be held virtually or cancelled until further notice.
3. Regular business meetings shall continue, including but not limited to mandated public or board meetings.
4. Public meetings will be closed to the general public unless there is a mandated public hearing scheduled.
5. We will work with SATV to ensure that they continue to film public meetings.
6. Check the town’s web site for any updates.
