Larcenies from vehicles in the downtown area

Shortly after midnight this morning, the Harrison Police Department responded to a report of suspicious males attempting to gain entry to parked vehicles in the Brentwood section of downtown Harrison.  We initially located the males but they did evaded.  Harrison Police Officers were able to apprehend one of the males at about 5 am and charge him in connection with the larcenies; Investigation is ongoing.  Multiple residents were affected by the larcenies in the Sunnyridge, Brentwood and Crystal Streat areas but the perpetrators only accessed unlocked vehicles.  
Please remember to remove or hide personal items, lock your doors, activate your alarms and remain vigilant.
