INCIDENT:   Murder Investigation
 
LOCATION: 13000 block of Troy Court, Victorville
 
VICTIM:        Nicole Gadsby, 27 years old, resident of Victorville
 
SUSPECT:   Eric Quintanar, 36 years old, resident of Hesperia
                      
SUMMARY:
On Friday, March 6, 2020 at 3:27 p.m. Hesperia deputies responded to a call of a suicidal subject on Manzanita Street. When deputies arrived, they found the subject, identified as Eric Quintanar, with injuries to his wrists and he was initially uncooperative. Within a short time, deputies were able to detain Quintanar and he was transported to a local hospital for treatment. During this incident deputies received information that Quintanar’s girlfriend, Nicole Gadsby, may have been injured at her home in Victorville. Victorville deputies responded to Gadsby’s home where they found her suffering from stab wounds and she was pronounced deceased.
 
Homicide Detectives responded to conduct the investigation. Based on evidence and statements, Detectives determined that Quintanar had been at Gadsby’s home earlier in the afternoon and he was responsible for her death.
 
Quintanar was arrested and booked at West Valley Detention Center for murder and is being held without bail.
