*UPD* LASD Homicide Bureau detectives are assisting El Monte PD with a homicide investigation.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are assisting the El Monte Police Department with a shooting death investigation. On Friday, March 6, 2020, at approximately 7:30 am, El Monte Police Department received a call of a gunshot victim in a vehicle on the 11000 block of Lower Azusa Road, in the city of El Monte.
The victim was found in the driver’s seat of a parked vehicle, suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigators believe the shooting occurred during the early morning hours on March 6, 2020.
The investigation is on-going.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are responding to 11000 block of Lower Azuza Road, El Monte, regarding the shooting death of a male Hispanic adult. The incident occurred on Friday, March 6, 2020, at approximately 7:29 a.m.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
There is no suspect information.
