*UPD* Stabbing Death Investigation, 44200 blk Cedar Ave, Lancaster, #LASD Homicide

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their investigation into the stabbing death of a male Black adult. The incident occurred on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at approximately 11:00 A.M. on the 44200 block of Cedar Avenue, Lancaster.
 
Deputies assigned to the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station responded to the location regarding a prowler call. While the deputies were responding, additional information was received that individuals were fighting at the location.
 
Upon arrival, deputies observed the victim lying on the ground towards the rear of the location. The victim was unresponsive and suffering from apparent stab wounds to the upper torso.
 
The victim was treated by paramedics at the scene and was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
 
One individual was contacted at the scene and detained for questioning.
 
Detectives are canvasing the area for possible witnesses, video surveillance and additional evidence.
 
The investigation is in the preliminary stages and there is no additional information available at this time.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives are responding to the 44200 block Cedar Avenue, Lancaster, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the stabbing death of a man.
 
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. 
 
There is no further information available at this time, and the investigation is on-going.
