Two (2) Arrested During Probation Search (Angels Camp, CA)
Narcotics Enforcement Units assisted the Calaveras County Probation Department with a probation search in the 1800 block of Appaloosa Road in Rural Angels Camp. The purpose of the collaborative search effort was to ensure terms of probation were being followed.
During the search a total of approximately 9.1 Ounces of Cocaine was located in the residence. Additionally, 2.8 ounces of processed marijuana along with a hidden compartment container and evidence of the sales of controlled substances were located. Numerous rounds of live ammunition were seized due to terms of probation.
Ricardo Martinez (age 48 of Angels Camp) was arrested and booked in the Calaveras County Jail on the following charges: 11378 H&S Possession of Controlled Substance for Sales (Felony), 1203.2(a) PC Felony Violation of Probation and 11366.8(A) H&S Possession of False Compartment (Misdemeanor). Martinez is being held with no bail due to the violation of probation charge.
Shawn Langston (age 55 of Angels Camp) was arrested and booked into the Calaveras County Jail on the following charges: 30305(a) PC Felon in Possession of Ammunition (Felony), 1203.2 (a) PC Felony violation of probation, 11350(A) H&S Possession of controlled substance (Misdemeanor) and 11357(A) HS possession of marijuana over 28.5 grams (Infraction). Langston is being held with no bail due to the violation of probation charge.
