Jackson Police are pleased to announce Officer Ricky Allen as “Employee of the Month” for March. Officer Allen has been employed with the Jackson Police Department for approximately three years and is currently assigned to the Patrol Division.
Officer Allen shows up to work every day with an outstanding attitude and ready to make a difference for the citizens of the City of Jackson. He has a very proactive approach and is very dedicated to his job. Officer Allen makes it a priority to try and apprehend violent offenders, drug dealers, and gang members. In 2019, he made one hundred fourteen arrests and already has over ten arrests for 2020.
Officer Allen is happily married and has two wonderful sons. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and woodworking. He owns a custom cabinet and furniture business that is very well-liked by the community. It is not uncommon at all for Officer Allen to help officers and friends that require his skills.
