Suffolk County Police last night arrested three women during a massage parlor raid in West Babylon.
In response to community complaints, First Precinct Crime Section officers conducted an investigation into illegal activities at Rio Spa, located at 640 Sunrise Highway, and arrested three women at 7:50 p.m.
Jeonghee Kim, 52, of Flushing, was charged with Unauthorized Practice of a Profession, a Class E Felony under the New York State Education Law. Shunji Li, 50, of Flushing, and Meihua Jin, 49, of Flushing, were charged with Prostitution and Unauthorized Practice of a Profession.
The women are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on March 24.
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
