RAD KIDS Summer Camp Registration Now Open
Registration is now open for the second annual Rad Kids Summer camp. The Marietta Police Department, partnering with instructors from the Kennesaw Police Department, Cobb County Police Department, Cobb Safety Village and Greater Atlanta Christian School will host the RAD KIDS educational summer camp again this July. Our agencies remain dedicated to educating and protecting our youth, and the RAD KIDS program has become an integral part of that mission.
Rad Kids is a safety education program that emphasizes personal empowerment. The class is designed for children between the ages of five and twelve years old. Topics covered include: how to prevent bullying, and how to stay safe while on the internet, at home, at school, in a vehicle, and outdoors. In addition to these issues, we will discuss the many tricks used by child predators and the physical resistance strategies that kids can use to thwart these possible child abduction attempts.
The RAD KIDS summer camp will run from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm July 20-23rd at the Cobb County Safety Village. Children are placed in classrooms according to age, please make sure that you use the correct link for registration based on your participants age when camp beings. The cost for the camp is $80
