Monterey Park Fire and Police responded to a grass fire in the area of Marlkland Drive and Potrereo Grande Drive, The Fire Department extinguished the fire within an hour containing the fire from any other damage.

Fire Department will be on seen for the next couple hours checking for any hot spots and clean up. Traffic may be affected and some power may be off for the next hour in some locations.
