Detectives arrest Rodney Thompson and Leticia Reyes at a residence in the 9000 block of Hatfield Road

INCIDENT: Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sales while Armed with a Firearm and Possession of Stolen property

LOCATION: 9000 block of Hatfield Road, Hesperia

SUSPECT(S): Rodney Thompson a 39-year-old resident of Hesperia
Leticia Reyes a 31-year-old resident of Hesperia

VICTIM(S): Walmart and other unknown victims

SUMMARY:
On Thursday, February 27, 2020, at approximately 6:58 a.m., detectives from the Apple Valley Detective Bureau and the Victor Valley Detective Bureau served a search warrant at a residence in the 9000 block of Hatfield Road in Hesperia. Detectives located Rodney Thompson and Leticia Reyes living in the back part of the house. Deputies located several items of stolen property, a large amount of heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia within the area where they were living. Detectives also recovered two illegal assault weapons and one handgun. The stolen property was valued at approximately $10,000.00.

Thompson was arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for H&S 11370.1(a) Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sales while armed with a firearm and PC 496(a) Possession of Stolen Property. Thompson was found to be on Probation and is a Parolee out of Los Angeles County.

Reyes was arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for H&S 11379(a) Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale.
