...Accumulating Snowfall during Friday and Friday Night... .A clipper system will cross over the Appalachian Mountains on Friday and depart by Friday night. Snow will develop and spread over the mountains during the day. Gusty winds could bring periods of blowing snow and reduced visibilities. Total accumulations are expected to range from 1 to 3 inches mainly in the higher elevations, but locally higher amounts up to 5 inches are possible at Mount Rodgers and western Greenbrier County.
