If you're driving on El Camino Real in Palo Alto, you may notice something new. Caltrans HQ installed Pedestrian Hybrid Beacons (PHB) at five locations. A PHB is a flashing signal which warns drivers when pedestrians are crossing the roadway. Look for them on El Camino Real at
