Santa Maria Police are seeking assistance in locating a suspect in connection to a recent stabbing. 
On February 11, 2020 the Santa Maria Police Department was notified of a stabbing victim seeking treatment at a local hospital. Through the course of the investigation, Santa Maria Police were able to determine the incident occurred on the 1700 block of south Depot street.
The adult victim sustained multiple stab wounds and was treated for his injuries. The victim has since been released from the hospital.
Santa Maria Police Detectives identified the suspect as Jesus Valencia Haro, 22 years of age. He is described a Hispanic male, 6 feet tall, approximately 220lbs, black hair and brown eyes.
